OpalRunes were first discovered during early LRPA (Lithodelphis Research Projects Agency) expeditions into cyberspace. These symbols are believed to represent the earliest known form of communication between memetic entities and humans.
Each character is derived from the digits 0 – 9 and the letters A – Z. The symbols are constructed using tri-state segment displays resembling OpalQuartz ( battery cells used to store ION energy ).
OpalRunes are rarely observed in the post-merge era. Their existence and translation were debated, until recently uncovered research from an LRPA outpost in the outer reaches of cyberspace confirmed their authenticity.
